Since Mother Nature has decided to skip October this year anyway, I guess it's good to officially welcome November in. Maybe the unseasonable weather will at least get us all just a little more excited about the pending Holiday Season.

There isn't as much “meat” to discuss this month, so I'll toss out a few reminders and let everyone get on to the rest of the newsletter. First, I hope everyone who went to the ATCE this year in New Orleans has made it back safely. And now that you've had time to absorb all the great information you took in (and hopefully exude all the “Hand Granade” cocktails as well), please remember to pass on any presentations you found interesting to the Mid-Continent Board. Secondly, I want to highlight our meeting on November 2nd once again. Our Distinguished Lecturer, Fred Growcock, is sticking around to give an afternoon workshop on “STRENGTHENING WHILE DRILLING”. Also, please note that this meeting is on a Monday.

Enjoy the newsletter and I hope to see everyone soon.

Thanks and have a safe and happy November.
